A flutter treatment? is a blood thinner needed? or will low dose beta blocker suffice?

Unlikely a problem: Hi matthew, a fluttering feeling in the chest is a very common symptom and at the age of 17 likely indicates extra heart beats as opposed to atrial fibrillation, a condition that might require blood thinners. This may be related to anxiety in which a beta blocker could be very helpful. You should consult a physician if it increases in frequency, duration, severity or persists. Dr. Charles, coach md.
