Reply: Nose bleeds are common in young children due to dry nose, nasal congestion due to allergies, nose picking, local trauma etc. But excessive nose bleeding associated with gum bleeds and bruising at unusual sites has to be evaluated by doctor. Please let his pediatrician evaluate and if they feel necessary they may refer him to ent.
