I have history of endometriosis w/ full spectrum of ov ca symptoms on daily basis in past 8mos. all they can find is 1.5cm adexal mass, which md doesn't think is cause of my sx. can 1.5cm cyst be so symptomatic?

Possibly: Small cysts can be very symptomatic, though it is uncommon.

Problematic: So yes women with endo have a higher lifetime risk of ovarian cancer. The risk os still small. You should always be on something to suppress the endo unless trying to get pregnant. Endo, scar tissue, or the mass could cause symptoms. But only surgery can tell you what is going on now. And surgery is not enough. Longstanding medical therapy is also needed.
