Burning in Stomach: It does not have to be something serious. It could be an irritation of your stomach lining, called gastritis, which may be from something you ate, a medication, or a recent illness. However, you should consult a local physician who might recommend a course of over the counter antacids like Pepcid complete, zantac, (ranitidine) of Prilosec otc.
