Hiatal hernia poss.: If unusual gurgling sounds persist, it might indicate that part of your stomach has herniated through your diaphragm muscle into the chest. This is called a hiatal hernia, which can often result in acid reflux problems. If symptoms resolve quickly i wouldn't worry; could just be a transient issue with stomach motility.
