Pancreatitis: Not likely pancreatitis. Severe back pain generalized to severe abdominal pain. More likely gastritis and reflux. I do not recommend otc products other than occasional antacid use because they can mask much more serious problems.

Symptoms: Those symptoms are more suggestive of an esophageal problem. I recommend that you consult with a gastroenterologist.
