Possibly: Mono is a contagious illness, passed in the oral secretions of an infected person.Incubation ranges from 4-6 weeks and the infected party can shed virus for at least 3 weeks. Infants and toddlers generally have a much milder illness than adults, more like a mild flu. Standard tests for the illness can be negative in 50% if toddlers early in the illness and may take 3-4 weeks to eventually turn +.

Mono: Theoretically yes, he could get mono from you, but in reality he may be relativily safe from getting it. If he shows symptoms then get him tested otherwise watchful waiting is in order.
