Vitamin E also: Smoking depletes out bodies of vitamin c and also vit. E; it probably creates deficiencies in other antioxidants as well. If you are a smoker, stopping smoking is the best thing you can do for your health. Taking vit c at least 1000 mg 2x/day and natural e with mixed tocopherols may help some but will not offer full protection from the hazards of smoking. See comment:.
