A member asked:

Can a past head injury mask symptoms of b12 deficiency? could it lead docs in the wrong direction causing misdiagnosis

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Can you clarify?: B12 deficiency can cause all sorts of neurological symptoms including problems with memory and focus; and so can a head injury. But severe B12 deficiency will also cause many other problems not associated with head trauma, including things like anemia or peripheral nerve issues.
