My doctor told me it was time for me to leave my lipitor, (atorvastatin) is it safe to just stop taking it? or should i do it gradually somehow? see my medication

Yes: Lipitor (atorvastatin) can help people but also can harm others. There is no reason to take it unless you need it. There is no reason to worry about coming off of it if your doctor recommended to do so.
