Elevated : Cholesterol levels. Discuss with your provider your concerns. If absolutely indicated frequent monitoring of liver enzymes will be indicated

Other approaches: Statins like Lipitor (atorvastatin) have distinct and very real risks, and if you have had prior reaction to statins, anticipate future problems also. Other approaches can be considered such as diet, increased fiber, non-statin drugs, such as Zetia.
