Fx Foot: I'll assume an x-ray was taken at 5 weeks and your doctor thought enough healing had occurred to discontinue the cast. If you are in a regular shoe i would suggest either a cam boot for an additional two weeks or a referral to physical therapy. If no x-ray was taken at 5 weeks then i would call your doctor and request a reevaluation. Good luck.

Fracture : Normally takes 6-8 weeks to heal. You should talk to your doctor and get another x-ray. If it is still painful it's not healed yet.
