Low thyroid bad: Low thyroid can be very, very serious, even fatal when it entirely fails. Thankfully it usually doesn't stop entirely and we have replacement hormones so we rarely see life-threating thyroid disease. Raynaud's can be triggered by stress but most often by cold. Low thyroid often makes people cold and also causes stress.
