Emergency room: Take him to the emergency room. If he is taking blood thinners, stop them. That includes aspirin, plavix, coumadin, (warfarin) xarelto, & pradaxa.

May need physician : Have him pinch his nostrals together while holding his head back for 10 minutes. If bleeding does not stop then seek help from his physician or a hospital emergency room.
