My father(65 years) slipped in the toilet 8 hours back & cut his head(an inch).do i need to take him to doctor for any scan to check internal bleeding

Slip: There are two issues. Did he fall because of simple slip or did he fall because of dizziness while on the toilet? And second, did he lose consciousness when he hit his head? I would take him to an ER for a check of his head and his heart. Also, what is his blood sugar?
