How bad is it to use one or two cycles of steroids?

Steroids: This would depend on the specific steroid and the doses used within the cycle. A single tapering cycle of Prednisone or Medrol (methylprednisolone) is normally is not a problem. I have not seen consecutive taper cycles, but if spaced out appropriately, the second cycle should be no more problematic than the first. As you no doubt know, steroids should be avoided if possible for chronic therapy.
