Reflux: Foods that can trigger gerd: fatty or fried foods, coffee, tea, alcohol, spicy foods, oranges and other citrus fruits, tomatoes, onions, carbonated beverages, chocolate and mint. Foods that help prevent gerd: leafy greens, melons, bananas, oatmeal, tofu, fennel, parsley, and rice.
