Acid reflux: Few things without meds. Start with elevating the head part of the bed 4 - 6 inches. Avoid acidic drinks and foods, fatty foods, caffeine (coffee, tea, carbonated drinks). Eat small meals more frequently rather than the traditional 3 meals a day. No eating at least 2 hours before bedtime. Exercise to lose weight. Otc meds - gaviscon. Concult your doctor for the proper medication to start with.
