Yes.: Lots of babies get eczema - and steroid creams are 100% safe if used appropriately. First, be sure that you use lots of moisturizer on these areas twice per day - this alone can sometimes fix the problem. If not, mix the moisturizer 50/50 with 1% hydrocortisone, or if you have a prescription cream, use that, and apply. Use the creams generously and consistently - should improve in 10 days.
