Foot pain: Pain across top of foot could be foot fracture or stress fracture. Other reasons could be ligament strain or tears (possible lisfranc ligament). Visit your doctor, imaging studies may be needed and off-loading or bracing to initially help with pain. Antiinflammatory medications may help as well. I hope this helps!

Maybe fallen arch: Sounds like you had pain related to a fallen arch. If you have flatfeet this is most likely the cause. It will develop into arthritis between the little bones in your foot. Arch supports can be helpful. But before you try to treat yourself seek help from an orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon. Good luck.

Shooting: Pain like that is usually nerve related and may not be associated with the old injury. Consult a neurologist.
