Knee pain: Consult with your knee surgeon to make sure that perhaps scar tissue is not the cause of your pain or difficulty with tying shoes.

More arthritis?: With your history of a partial knee replacement on the other side, it is possible this is related to arthritis or possibly a torn meniscus. I would suggest seeing your orthopaedic surgeon for an exam, x-ray and possibly a knee injection. Good luck!
