Stop rinsing mouth : Please follow the instructions given to you after the extraction . And please refrain from keeping rinsing your mouth every time you see blood in it . Just bite down on a piece of clean gauze for half an hour ً. The bleeding will stop . If it doesn't please go back to your dentist as soon as possible.

Post op bleeding: 1. Place a wet teabag on the area with gentle pressure. 2. Keep your head elevated 3. Minimize physical activity 4. Do not rinse, spit or suck through a straw 5. If still a problem, call your dentist and ask to be seen for evaluation.
