Wisdom teeth: You must keep pressure on it to stop the bleeding. If this does not help then call the doctor especially if the gauze gets soaked and the bleeding does not appear to be stopping. Do not keep on rinsing as this keeps on removing the clots and may cause continued bleeding. For bleeding to stop a clot has to form and overtime the clot will resolve.

Bite on a gauze: You need to stop rinsing or spitting out the blood. If you keep doing that than your bleeding will never stop. The area of the extraction needs to form a blood cloth so you need to bite on a gauze for a good 30 minutes without disturbing the area. If your bleeding does not stop call your doctor or go to the er. But they would also just make you bite on a gauze so best to do it yourself.
