If its recovering: If you are improving, even slowly, i would not worry about it. If it is getting worse, call your doctor.

Caudal anesthesia: Caudal anesthesia, a type if epidural anesthesia, involves the injection of a steroid and sometimes a local anesthetic into the epidural space. I doubt that any of your complaints 3 days later are related.

Unlikely related: It would be highly unusual for a caudal injection to have effect 3 days later.
