Gastroenteritis: Gastroenteritis symptoms typically last around 48 hours, however, they can linger for several days. Signs of dehydration are dry mouth, excessive thirst, truly dark urine, dry skin, lethargy, or dizziness. Stay hydrated and drink some gatorade or other isotonic electrolyte fluid replacement. Please see your MD if you have signs of severe dehydration or associated pain, blood in stool. Good luck.
