Talk to your doctor: You have ulcerative colitis and had a flare up. Your doctor gave you steroids. Talk to you doctor if you are still experiencing pain and not having normal stool. Your docotor wants to know if the steroids have stopped the inflammation. You may require longer steroids or stronger medication. It is important to let your doctor know you are not better.
