Yes. Please see your gastroenterologist. Unfortunately the ulcerative colitis if not properly treated when symptoms flair can only get worse.

Yes, if you have a history of ulcerative colitis and have a flare, you should not let the inflammation continue, but you should see your doctor and get back on treatment for it as soon as you can. Good luck.
