Keep calm: An elevated CRP is an indicator of inflammation. It is similar to an ESR test (also an indicator of inflammation but a little different). It's ok to feel afraid, but try to keep calm until your physician gives you the final diagnosis. Remember that there are many many diagnoses that yield an elevated crp.
