Medical checkup: Your doctor can guide you further. Any doctor can check your blood count(CBC) and tell you if you have any problem of blood cancer. Your Lung doctor can handle and explain what it all means, if you ask him/her about getting a CBC done.

Inflammation: This points to the presence of inflammation. Because of the breathing problem, need to find out whether the inflammation is coming from the lung tissue. Although airway inflammation is the hallmark of asthma, it is not associated with an elevated CRP. Cancer is not usually associated with significant inflammation. Suggest a pulmonary or allergy consult.
