Not surgery: Spondylosis is ubiquitous in the middle ages and beyond. Research has shown that it is not possible to reliably and definitively diagnosis/isolate spondylosis as a primary cause of lbp to predict any level of success with injections or surgery. Patients are best off trying noninvasive measures including wellness initiatives such as exercise, weight reduction, stress management, mindfulness, etc.
