Some options: Persistent discomfort after a root canal is not that uncommon unfortunately. Treating teeth endodontically is not a simple procedure and sometimes the result falls short of the desired effect. There may be a continuation of inflammation due to untreated canal space. It is possible your bite needs adjustment. Seek evaluation by an endodontist to determine what the best option is for you.

Many possibilities: This is not normal and needs to be evaluated. It might be as simple as a bite adjustment, or as serious as an infection or fractured root, just to mention some of the possibilities. See your dentist to have this checked out and resolved.
