A member asked:

My vision is -3.5/-2, determined by ophthalmologist. reading is great. i live well without glasses, unless i drive a car. any advantage to use 2.5/1.5?

Mono: Based on your numbers, you are near-sighted. As a result, you see well to read without any glasses. +2.50 readers are only useful if you are near zero in your prescription. If you correct you near-sightedness with contacts (so that you can see well to drive), then yes, you will need the +2.50 readers to read.
