No: If you are really eating 1000 calories per day, every day, then you will lose weight, even if the calories are made up entirely of fat. 1000 calories per day is less than a normal human adult needs. Note that I am not suggesting that you eat a diet of 1000 calories per day of fat.

Do the math: Protein has about four calories per gram; if you are eating 70 grams of protein that is only 280 calories. Even on top of the 1000 calorie diet unless you are very sedentary it is hard to imagine gaining a lot of weight on 1280 calories it takes 3500 excess calories to make a pound of fat. So figure out how many calories you burn a day, there are calculators all over the internet.
