Depends...: On whether the speaker and the audience are health professionals or lay folks. Few tips: make the talk personal, be it your own experience or someone else's (without using names). Please do not depend on funky powerpoint slides and effects. Like in a movie, special effects do not substitute for a good story. Also be very careful with the use of humor when you are dealing with these topics.
