Not really: Your doctor seems to have a handle on this. From what you presented waiting seems fine. Biopsies are generally safe but there are complications that can occur. As long as you are being followed you should be pk. You can certainly ask your doctor about the biopsy. Can't hurt.

If you're concerned: You can always request a biopsy, although the indications for it based upon your info are only plus/minus. Serum thyroglobulin level may also be helpful. Remember, biopsy cannot prove you don't have cancer, even it it's negative. F/u over time is essential.
