had surgery to repair discoid meniscus a month ago. should it still hurt so much that i can barely walk? it feels the same as before surgery.

Discoid Meniscus : The discoid meniscus and lateral meniscal surgery often take longer to heal. More important is what else was seen at surgery. If cartilage damage or arthritis - then the source of pain may have been that. You say "repair" but often what is really done is "resect" or remove the discoid meniscus. A failed "repair" (sewing together) could cause same kind of pain.
