Acl: Nervous is normal before any surgery. A good website to see animations of the surgery is www.Orthoillustrated.Com. Your knee will be swollen but will go down in time. You will be walking with crutches.

It depend: If you are asking about walking with crutches with no weight bearing on the operative side, the answer second day. If when walk normally it take about 4-6 weeks.
