Needle or Surgical?: Was the biopsy a needle biopsy or an excisional surgical biopsy? If surgical, then the nodule was removed and it is benign and you probably have little to worry about. If a needle biospy then you need to know if there was adequate tissue for diagnosis. If not, then you can't be sure there is nothing there. Sometimes a repeat biopsy is suggested or a followup sonogram of the nodule.
