A member asked:

Symptoms of groin strain or hernia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually pain: Especially on exertion. If it is a true inguinal hernia, you might also see a lump. If this lump becomes painful or tender, it is time to see surgeon for possible surgical repair. If it is just a strain, it should get better with rest and mild analgesics.
