A member asked:

What exactly does it mean when the back of your head falls asleep?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Head asleep: You were probably in a chair with your head on the top of the chair back or neck over the chair back. In that position you can put pressure on the greater occiipital nerve, causeing the brief loss of sensation and then pins and needles.
