Evaluation: You should see your doctor to be evaluated and have blood test( EBV ,CMV, CBC)and possible biopsy of nodes to find the cause so be treated.

Lymph nodes.: By your description and by the amount of time that these nodes have been there, they are probably fine. Although technically speaking, the only way to know with certainty would be to remove a few and send them to a laboratory for pathologic analysis.
