Call ur dentist: Your discomfort may be the result of a number of things, including a filling that is a bit too "high" resulting in a prematurity, or it can be from a restoration that was deep and close to the nerve tissue. Only your dentist will know for sure, and that is why you need to call.

Bite adjustment: One of two things are causing the pain, the bite is off [that can be easily adjusted] or the nerve is dead/or dying. Have your dentist evaluate the condition.
