A member asked:

For what reasons might the growth of adenoids cause earaches?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Adenoid/Ear infectio: The adenoids are located in the back of the nose next to the tube that drains the ears- the eustachian tube. A large adenoid can block this tube and prevents the ears from draining well and that can lead to recurrent ear infection.
