tonsil stones: The tonsils have multiple holes that can can get filled with bacteria, mucus and food debris. Overtime the debris can harden and form the so called tonsil stones. They are not serious but they can cause throat discomfort and bad breath.

Nose Bleeds: The nose has a lot of blood vessels and bleeding from the nose is quite common. People who take blood thinners such as aspirin, Coumadin (warfarin) or Plavix are at higher risk. An ENT doctor will look closely in the nostril to see if there is a blood vessel that needs to be cauterized or if there is something else causing the bleeding. It is helpful to keep the nose moist with saline spray and gel.

Types Ear infection: 3 types of ear infections: outer, middle &inner. Inner ear infection involves the balance system and people get very dizzy. Outer ear infection involves the outer ear and ear canal. It can be very painful. There is usually swelling and drainage of the ear. Middle ear involves the ear drum and middle ear space. There is pain, muffled hearing etc. For pain: advil, (ibuprofen) or tylenol+warm compress.
