I take zoloft for panic disorder can i take ambien (zolpidem) at night for insomnia? dr put me on a valium for sleep & its not helping & i don't want to take it!

Yes: If Ambien (zolpidem) helps you can take it. Trazodone would be another alternative.I would suggest to talk with your. Doctor.

Research indicates with psychotherapy you can change & find better coping mechanisms. Please see a Psychiatrist for medication better for you than Ambien and Valium. You may also qualify for a sleep study.
