I had an undisplaced vertical talus body fracture. it went undiagnosed for 5 months. the tibotalar joint was notinvolved. a patch of sclerosis is showing in the talar dome. what is the treatment option?

Off loading : Off-loading of fracture and immobilizing if fracture is not healed. Depending on mr report, may benefit from patellar bearing brace for amunlation. Since it is non displaced, it may not need surgery unless avn develops. Continue monitoring with serial x-rays until 6 months post injury. Good luck.

Maybe: Well, a fracture through the body of the talus, vertically, would almost always be intraarticular. If it went i diagnosed for five months ill assume you've been walking on it. At this point a bone stimulator would be your best treatment option.
