Avasular necrosis: Sclerosis in bone on ct or xray can mean one of two things when related to trauma, either repair bone or bone that is not vascularized or avascular necrosis. The usual methods of confirming avascular necrosis are either bone scan or mri.Ct scan is not as specific as the above studies.Vascular grafting is procedure to revascularize the bone.
