Yes: But sometes people get used to the sedating side effects of Elavil (amitriptyline) so that is why it is not approved as a sleep med. The is no reason why the two meds can not be taken. They are comparable

Yes: Would assume that the Wellbutrin is being taken for atypical depressive symptoms and the Elavil is for sleep.
