Are you treating you: treating self? Medications may offer marginal help until the cause of your insomnia is identified and managed appropritely. See a doctor for full physical and mental evaluation

Medication should be managed by your Psychiatrist. It's a good idea to have a complete physical exam to know if you have a physical illness that is causing symptoms. You may need a sleep study. You could be helped by a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in multiple types of psychotherapy. If you are not confident with your Psychiatrist please see another for a second opinion.
