Tylenol (acetaminophen): The only safe over-the-counter pain medication you can take with your gastrointestinal problems would be tylenol (acetaminophen). I hope this helps. Best wishes.

NSAIDs: Apply ice for 20 min. And nsaids (aleve, advil) otc.
